Summit Wireless Technologies (NASDAQ: WISA) is headed for the top early on in the premarket hours this morning, and for good reason. The company announced the commercial launch of it’s Wireless Sound Association (WiSA)-branded product yesterday, followed by yet another product launch announcement this morning. Here’s what’s going on:
WISA Stock Jumps As Products Hit The Sales Floor
As mentioned above, Summit Wireless Technologies stock is headed for the top in the early hours this morning, primarily driven by the launch of a new wireless home cinema bundle complete with its WiSA SoundSend audio transmitter.
The bundle not only comes with the newly launched transmitter, it includes the Tuned by THX Monaco 5.1 immersive Wireless Home Audio System from Platin Audio. The bundle is currently available for purchase at Amazon, Newegg, and eBay. Later this week, WiSA said that the bundle will be offered at Target.

The Bundle Comes On The Heels Of The SoundSend Launch
As mentioned above, the new bundle hitting sales floors this morning comes on the heels of a huge announcement that took place yesterday. Summit Wireless Technologies announced that SoundSend was made commercially available at just $179. This gives sound enthusiasts the ability to seamlessly connect wireless sound to any smart television.

SoundSend opens a broad new market for speaker manufacturers to offer smart surround sound solutions with its low cost and simple setup, eliminating the need for A/V consoles, this small, impactful home cinema transmitter now enables the creation of immersive home theater experiences through a simple connection for all Smart TVs, a massive market for SoundSend. Premium audio brands like Klipsch, Bang & Olufsen, Bouchard, Harman and System Audio will be able to soft bundle with SoundSend at retail to offer consumers a high fidelity audio experience with a simple two-step connection.

The bottom line here is simple. Summit Wireless Technologies and its WiSA association are changing the game in home sound. The need to hire someone for the complex wiring of a home theater sound system is now a thing of the past, and all the major brands are jumping onboard.
